12 Stunning Long-Sleeved Wedding Dresses

Want to know a little wedding secret? Part of the reason I wanted a winter wedding is so I could wear a fabulous long-sleeved lace wedding gown. I know. It’s completely silly. But I’ve just never been a strapless dress kind of girl. I knew I wanted sleeves. That and I secretly want it to lightly flurry. Emphasis on the lightly. A long-sleeved lace gown with my handsome groom, standing in the city in the snow? I can’t even.

And so, every bridal shop we’ve been in, I’ve started with “what do you have with sleeves?” The answer is usually, “not much”. I hopped in and out of many bridal salons before I found the dress, simply because each salon usually only had 2-4 dresses with sleeves.

So if you’re in to long-sleeved dresses like me, check out some of the gorgeous styles below. Some of them I actually tried on. I’m basically on a quest to bring back long-sleeved wedding dresses as a trend. It’s happening.

Oleg Cassini Long Sleeved Bridal Gown

David’s Bridal Oleg Cassini Long Sleeve Lace Trumpet Gown – This dress is STUNNING on. The picture doesn’t do it justice. It is shown with a champagne/nude underlay with white embroidered lace over. The nude is much darker in real life.

Sottero and Midgley Danae

Sottero and Midgley Danae – This lace has a metallic thread in it that is beautiful in real life. It gives the dress a little something extra.

Darla Maggie Sottero

Maggie Sottero Darla – The train on this one? Gorgeous. I would have been tempted by it if it didn’t have the bell sleeves and attached belt.

  • The way you describe your winter wonderland wedding sounds so beautiful you make me want to have one. But then I think of how much I really kinda hate the cold and I change my mind 😉 those dresses are pretty though I can’t wait to see what dress you picked. Love hearing about all your wedding thoughts and planning.

  • I’m getting married in December and secretly it was because I wanted to have long sleeves too. I even tried on that Oleg Cassini but on my it lol matronly and more suited for someone taller and thin. (I’m 5’1 and plus sized at the moment). I ended up with a strapless which I had absolutely went in search of dresses NOT wanting. I’m thinking I’ll add a fur wrap or somethng for pictures OR even one of those lace overlay things you can remove. I bet you look beautiful if your long sleeved one!

  • Long sleeved dresses done the right way are so regal and elegant! You can def pull it off! The Rosa Clara gown with the bow is breathtaking!

  • Elizabeth

You will look stunning in anything you wear! One of my good friends had a wedding dress that looked almost exactly like the Rosa Clara Segovia dress. It was a November wedding and it was beautiful.

  • Moe

The gown by Watters Arcelia is so gorgeous! Unfortunately I don’t have the cleavage for the dress 🙁

  • So lovely! The ball gown style one is just classic. But I’ll never be able to see that second one again without thinking of this… https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10204525969848460&set=o.475593509199103&type=3&theater

  • AH! I had long sleeves!!! I loved them so much. This was before the Royal Wedding so there were NO options! I had to have my dress made. Love these beauties so much.

  • My mom had a long sleeved wedding dress and all of the wedding photos are just gorgeous! I’m sure your long sleeved dress in the light flurry will be just beautiful! (:

  • I am with you! I have always loved long sleeved wedding dresses. I’ve always thought they were very romantic and feminine. Plus I hate my arms so that’s a benefit as well since I want to feel comfortable on my big day.

  • so beautiful! Sleeves are not for me, though 😉 My dress is actually somewhat similar to the last one but without the sleeves

  • THAT BOW. I am usually not a big dress kind of girl but I loooove that dress.

  • So many beautiful dresses

  • I absolutely love the first one. And I’m with you on the sleeves! I got married in summer but wore a gown with a deep v-neck and sleeves that landed about 2 inches above my elbow. I think the dress I wore was technically designed as an ivory evening gown – if you have a hard tim finding a dress you love that’s another great way to sear!ch

  • Can’t wait to see what you picked! That one with the sheer top and the bow is to die for.

  • YESSSS!!! I’ve actually been looking for long lace sleeves even though we will be getting married in Mexico lol I’m trying to find something vintage, long sleeves, flow-y, open back..yeah it probably won’t happen but I’m loving all these ones you picked!

  • Oh my goodness, long sleeves can be SO stunning!

  • Can’t wait to see what you picked! They are all so beautiful (from a lady who didn’t have a strapless dress either!)
