Friday’s Letters

Dear Bex, Bob, and Nav, I had a great time at the baseball game last night. And blog friends, if you haven’t attended a minor league baseball game in your area recently, you’re missing out. Our local team is $7 a ticket ($5 with a sweet Groupon deal) and it makes for a great Thursday night. And maybe your friends will actually join you for Take Me Out To The Ball Game during the 7th inning stretch! Singing is fun!

See how I ruined what would have been a great group pic? Well done, Nadine.
Also, what is my arm doing?

Dear table I’m going to try to refinish this weekend, My history of home decor projects is questionable at best. Let’s hope you turn out cute and rustic looking and not just crappy. Hey, I wouldn’t want to waste the $5 I spent at Goodwill. If you have painting suggestions, please leave a comment below. I need all the help I can get.

Dear Becky, First, you are beautiful (see that gorgeous brunette above?). I’d pay the big bucks for a smile like yours. I’m so proud of you for becoming a Zumba instructor. You are great at it! I can’t wait to attend another class tomorrow, awkward hips and all. Oh and thanks for adding a little chicken dance in there last week (I know it was just for me).

Dear New Girl, It’s settled, you were the best new show this year. Just you and Modern Family make me laugh so hard I cry. Oh, Schmidt. I love that for once the neurotic character isn’t a female (although who didn’t love Monica Gellar?).  My vote is for you for an Emmy.

Dear boyfriend, I’m so excited to see The Avengers in IMAX with you tonight. We pretty much see a movie every weekend and it reminds me of how thankful I am that you like going to the movies as much as I do. I pretty much love every movie I see, so I always get my your money’s worth. Everything is better when you are with me.

Dear life, Fingers crossed!
