Archie In-Between

The last time I did a serious Archie post, it was in January. I say I get at least one day a month to ooh and ahh over this sweet little boy.  It’s like I’m a mommy blogger only I promise I won’t talk about breastfeeding. You’re welcome.

On with the praise…He really is the best dog I could ever ask for. He carries shoes around but never chews them up,  always looks like he’s laughing, and is the cuddliest little guy. Also, he lets me hold him like this, repeatedly…

He’s starting to look more like a dog and less like a puppy.
He’s in-between.
Less biting, less obnoxious, and a little less fluffy.
Just cause he’s a dog, don’t think that means there will be less pictures of him on here.
Sorry, I’m not sorry. He’s my baby. There will always be pictures.

See that smile?

We love you Archie boy.
You bring so much joy to our lives.

  • Oh my gosh. The fuzzy ears get me every time. I love rubbing Bos’ ears on my face. Is that weird? Good, I didn’t think so. Archie is SO cute. That is what I love about Goldens… they always look cute, even when they aren’t puppies anymore.

    • I really feel the same way. Old goldens just get cuter and cuter as their faces turn white. It’s not weird to rub your face on your dog. I happen to like the way that Archie smells. Maybe that’s weird.

  • Eeek!! He is so cute. My baby is just getting out of that “in between” phase and is now about 14 months. I called it his “tween” stage.

    • That’s what it is. He’s a tween. He can be obnoxious on occasion but he gets it more. He’s better trained and he listens a little better.

  • Those photos are so adorable!!!

    • Thank you! I obviously think so too 🙂

  • Ok, I just “awwww”ed out loud. I am in love with your dog!!!

    • Thank you! He’s a sweetie pie and I promise that if you met him in person you would still be in love with him lol.

  • Hahahaha that is so hilarious that you still carry him like that!! I carry Bronx like that too, but he’s 8 pounds!! 🙂

    • I mean, it’s getting a lot harder to do. But I still like to do it because it’s a good size comparison since I’ve been doing it since we got him.

  • How sweet!! My girl is no longer a puppy but a (five year old) dog and I still carry around her 55 pound butt like a baby! It never gets old 🙂

    • Exactly. He’ll always be my baby so I can carry him like he is. If he doesn’t mind and I don’t throw my back out, why should I stop? LOL

  • I would hug and snuggle that dog all.day.long!!

    • And he would love the attention 😉

  • awww he’s getting so big!! love him!

  • He is getting so big! He looks so sweet. I love Archie posts!

  • He’s just ahead of my Arnie and looks just like him! We had to put our 7 1/2 year old Golden, Oliver, down in late January (worst day of my life) and my husband surprised me with Arn just four days later. These sweet little Goldies do a great job at bringing you back to life 🙂

  • Aaaaw… 🙂

  • Archie is so cute! Hugs!
